This began as a gift to the client from the agency I worked with, but the client enjoyed it so much it became a television commercial. Time was tight, and we had a lot of production to do, so I had to write it in only an afternoon.

Baylor has an amazing story, but she needed some help delivering it in thirty seconds, especially with the LifeShare messaging folded in. She was easy to work with once we bonded over my Sailor Moon high tops.

The client wanted a humorous battle of the sexes that centered on one partner’s collection taking up space and gathering dust.
Asperipis – High Five Media (April Fool’s Day)
At my last agency, we came up with the idea of a joke commercial that’s clearly not a real product. I spent an afternoon watching erectile dysfunction commercials to get the voice down. Time well spent.
Zoom Disaster – Herman’s Plumbing
2022 Addy Award Winner. A callback to the days of lockdown when we were doing everything on Zoom and getting away with only dressing for success from the waist up. Too bad for this guy, his troubles only started there.
Okie811 – Click Before You Dig! (Garden)
For decades, Okie811 wanted people to call before they dug. But once they went 100% online, we knew it would be a challenge to change people’s behavior. I co-created a new mascot for them, Click the Mouse, to demonstrate why Oklahomans need to click before they dig.

Fifteen seconds is not a lot of time, but we still needed to get across as many of this roofing contractor’s value propositions as we could without screaming at the audience.
Defcon 5 – High Five Media (High Five Day)
This is another fun one I got to write for my previous agency. Since their name is High Five, they like to do High Five Day right. So we made a short film that’s part Armageddon, part Apollo 13, and part total nonsense.
Okie811 – Click Before You Dig!
As part of the Okie811 focus on “Click Before You Dig,” we produced informational radio spots to go along with the more humorous TV spots. For bonus points, that’s me as the voice talent.

This client truly has a unique approach to leak detection. When I toured their facility, the phrase “leak detectives” really stuck with me. As a fan of Film Noir, I knew what I had to do.
Just Kids Pediatrics
JKP wanted to push flu shots in Autumn, so we thought making something scary into something cute would help kids be more comfortable with the jab. We had a terrific time coming up with the most adorable monsters and the best puns for each one.
