Join superhero scholar Joshua Unruh and film critic extraordinaire Caleb Masters as they slam straight into the second senses-shattering season of Batman: The Animated Series!

We take another step off the BTAS beaten track with a story that’s tied into the mysterious past of intelligence officer Alfred Pennyworth?! That’s right, apparently Alfred has half of the United Kingdom’s nuclear codes from back in his days as a diplomatic attache. And now Alfred is in danger because Red Claw (that’s right, Red Claw!) is back and wants to bathe London in nuclear fire. Or, you know, get the ransom instead. It’s a bonkers look back at the history of Alfred as a character and an even more bonkers look forward at his future as James Bond…apparently.

You can still purchase BTAS here here, but to stream it, you’ll have to join the streaming service DC Universe.
